Altorreal Golf hosts the Qualifying
Match for the Spanish Team
The Spain vs Europe 2008, "Ryder
Cup" style Tournament, the biggest and best Amateur
Tournament returned this year. Due to the overwhelming popularity
of last years Tournament, additional places were up for
grabs this year in two qualifying events.
Qualifying for the Spanish Team took place at Altorreal
Golf on Saturday 17th May. Can Europe retain the Trophy
.. or will Spain be victorious?
The Final, Spain vs Europe 2008, will take place over the
weekend of the 7th and 8th June 2008 at Roda using the same
format as the Ryder Cup.

Altorreal hosts the 1st Classification
stage of the MURCIAamiga Golf Challenge 2008
On Saturday 8th March Altorreal hosted the 1st Classification
Stage of the MURCIAamiga Golf Challenge 2008. An amateur
circuit developed for all players who want to obtain a qualification
card in order to participate in the Grand Golf Challenge
Final which will take place at Altorreal on 20th Septmber
2008.
The 1st Classification Stage at Altorreal was a complete
success in terms of players with a participation of 220
golfers as well as a large crowd who didn´t want to miss
this sporting event.
The fabulous weather also helped the occasion.
